This week the challenge is

Use Dies (DieCember)

We are showcasing Simon Says Stamp Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I grabbed a few of my favourite Simon Says Stamp dies for this week’s challenge. The Nested Stars are so useful – I didn’t know how much I’d love them until I got them! I die cut two sizes – one from gold metallic card and one from a wood veneer cardstock.

I used the Simon Says Stamp A2 Rectangle Dies to cut one of the gorgeous tartan papers from the Memory Box Jolly Christmas 6×6 paper pad and covered an A2 card front. I used the Charming Berry Branch Die and a brand new die from the amazing DieCember collection (available tomorrow) called Pointy Pine Branch.

To finish I added a foiled sentiment using the Vintage Christmas EZ Strips (LOVE these so much)

We are showcasing Lawn Fawn Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I started with an A2 card base and then die cut a panel using the Simon Says Stamp A2 Rectangle Dies. I used the Lawn Fawn String of Lights Background Stencils with Concord and 9th inks to create a background and then went over the lights again using Distress Translucent Texture Paste and a coat of Rock Candy Glitter.

I used one of the large Sentiments from Concord and 9th’s Season’s Greetings Stamps and die cut it with a die cut shadow cut from Sweet Pea cardstock to match the ink on the stamped sentiment.

This week the challenge is

Masculine (Movember)

We are showcasing Tim Holtz Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I gathered some of my favourite Tim Holtz goodies for this weeks challenge. I love the Tim Holtz Shifter Diamonds Stencil and used it with distress inks to create a Christmas design (Lumberjack Plaid and Mowed Lawn) and a Halloween version using Carved Pumpkin and Black Soot). I love how you can create a continuous pattern as big as you like!!!

I used the Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Rosettes Dies and an old Rosettes strips die to create rosettes in two sizes from red cardstock. I brushed a bit of black ink along the edges for some more depth.

I die cut some leaves from Tim Holtz Sizzix Vintage Sled Dies and Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Festive Wreath and tucked them behind the rosettes and added to the card front. I chose a sentiment from Ideaology Christmas Baseboards
