Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the Happy Birthday Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is
Food or Drink
We are showcasing Clearly Besotted Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
So one of my favourite food groups is sugar – in any form! I don’t discriminate when it comes to sugar! So for this week’s challenge I thought the Clearly Besotted Splat It Stencil would be ideal as melting chocolate to dip other forms of sugar into – like a chocolate fountain of sugary magnificence!
Using the drippy edge part of the stencil, I blended some Altenew Milk Chocolate dye ink onto white smooth cardstock and then used the Simon Says Stamp A2 Arches dies to cut a panel and fussy cut around the drips. I added some highlights with a white gel pen.

I grabbed my current favourite die collection from Hero Arts (Bear Hugs and Candy Kebob) and die cut a whole bunch of sweets from different shades of Concord and 9th cardstock. I assembled the pieces and added glossy accents to some and Rock Candy glitter to others.
Tip – the tiny little die cuts that pop out from die cutting the small gummy bear in the Bear Hugs set make great little sprinkles!

I used an very old (but still a favourite) alphabet die set from Papertrey Ink to cut my letters to spell out SWEET but this Small Alphabet die set from Gina K would work really well too – as an upper case version or this one, Playful Lower Case Alphabet from Honeybee Stamps.
To finish off I added a Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Strip (Bold Birthday) and arranged the sweet die cuts on the bottom of the card.
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $25 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
So now it’s YOUR turn, Happy Crafting
