I LOVE Pink Petticoat!

I am so loving my new discovery. I have always dismissed CD-roms and things like that as they always seem to be full of a lot of stuff that just isn’t my style(ie, out of the Create and Craft stable – no offence to anyone who likes their stuff – personally I find most of it horrendous! (runs and hides). However, I have recently stumbled across Pink Petticoat and her designs are just gorgeous. I love the Cheekies download with all the little frilly underwear images and yesterday downloaded a new christmas one. Haven’t had a chance to play with that one yet but itching to now. Actually, these little frillies would make great chrismtas cards if they were done in red – yum.

My first scraplift

This was lifted from a LO I saw on UKS and I think it may also have been in Scrapbook Inspirations too. The original wasn’t christmassy but I loved the use of the Banana Frog swirl stamps and the little embellishments. I thought I’d put this up today as I’m in a particularly festive mood. Merry Christmas everyone!!

Happy Wednesday.

Ooh, is it Wednesday already? I have been busy finalising my 6 cards I am doing for my class tommorrow night and finished the last two designs last night. I am quite pleased with these ones as the title of this class is “Bling it On”. There will be glitter galore so I’ll be in my element.

Just have to deal with mundane housey things first – yawn.

2 down , 3 to go!

Finally managed to finish Georgia’s name for her wall. Sophie has had hers up for a while. The letters are Making Memories 8″ chipboard covered in patterned papers (BG Oh Baby girl for Sophie, and K&Co Sparly Sweet for Georgia (I think – must double check). Anyhoo, added a few embellishments and stuck them on the wall with foam pads. Have to say they look fab! Just editing this post as have since discovered that it was NOT BG Oh Baby Girl, but BG Gypsy! There, that’s better!

Olivia’s 8th Birthday – Happy Birthday sweetheart.

My beautiful Olivia.

I’m starting to feel christmassy already!

Thought I would share one of my favourite LO’s today. It was published some time ago in Scrapbook Inspirations which I was so proud of. I have been meaning to record a wishlist LO each year but I’ve been slack. OOOh, I LOVE christmas.

Halloween Time

This is a double LO I did a while ago with spooky pictues taken at night in our garden. Spooky or what?

Downloading paper designs.

Have discovered a couple of websites lately where you can download patterned papers and although some are decidedly dodgy, there are some quite cool ones too. Pink Petticoat is one that has some gorgeous inspirational designs on there and some of the kits are just amazing. I have started my collection wit the dotty papers and the Oh ChristmasTree sets. Loving them so far. This card is my first creation. I just LOVE black and pink together.

Unicorn party??

I have succombed to my 7 year olds wishes for a sleepover party next week for her birthday. I said she could have 4 friends and asked her what she’d like to do _ “CRAFTING PARTY, with UNICORNS” (her favourite thing). Have spent the last hour sprawling through the net sourcing unicorn themed stuff for her party. Why did I ask???

A rak from Kat – I am so touched.

After a random comment on a post I made on the Cricut forum the other day, a wonderful lady (KatfromUK) has posted me the most beautiful little card with some skittles, glue dots and stickles. I am so touched by the kindness in some people and it has really made my day.
Kat if you’re reading this – THANK YOU a million times!
