Happy Father’s Day (I know – it’s late!!)

Hello all – I’m here today with a card I made using some of my favourite Simon Says Stamp exclusive products.  I am lucky enough to have both the Falling Stars AND Falling Hearts dies and I absolutely love them!  They cut beautifully and instantly “make” any card!  There isn’t much more needed when you have such an awesome die like this one!!  I also used Simon’s Happy word die.  The size of this die is perfect for a card front!

Happy Father's Day.The Father’s Day sentiment (from Simply Said: Happy) from Avery Elle is also available at Simon Says Stamp .  By the way, they have a great discount code available until 30th June (just quote DSC799) and you can get $7.99 off your order!!  Yay!!

Flamingo wishes!

Hello all.  Today I have a card featuring some fabulous products from Simon Says Stamp.  They asked me if I’d like to share a couple of creations using SSS brand supplies so of course I said YEEEESSSS!!

Flamingo wishes

Now I may have mentioned this before but I have a daughter who is obsessed with flamingos – seriously , they’re everywhere in her room, on her clothes, in her bed!!  So when this SSS die designed by Kelley Purkey came out I knew I had to have it!!  Here I’ve used it to make a shaker card with some pink sprinkles that I’ve had in my stash for years.  I even nabbed one of her flamingos for a photo prop, lol!  I also used the Tilted Banners dies set a co-ordinating stamps exclusively from Simon Says Stamp.  She’s already grabbed this card for her own collection so I guess it won’t be going anywhere other than on her massive Expedit shelving unit along with all the other flamingo nik naks!!

It’s the small things in life that mean the most.

Just popping with a quick post this morning to share a card I whipped up yesterday evening.  When I came home from work there was a small padded envelope on my desk and the label said it was from Simon Says Stamp.  Now, I shop there a fair bit but I knew I wasn’t waiting for an order – how curious!!  When I opened it there was a letter and a die set (Partial Cut Flowers) from their new release, Pure Sunshine and a lovely letter telling me to feel free to play with them and share anything I made on my blog!!  I know my friend Michelle (the Card Grotto) received a gift too and probably MANY others around the world.  I know it’s marketing and its a great way to promote their product BUT – they never promoted they were doing it, they just sent them out and now lots of crafters have had their day lifted and a smile put on their faces because of a gesture by a company that  frankly, is successful enough without needing to do that!!  I am so impressed!  I loved shopping with SSS anyway (despite the sometimes long wait for delivery)  but this has shown me what a great company they really are and whoever is behind this marketing stroke of genius needs a pay rise!!!

Anyway, I thought “the children don’t need to be fed RIGHT away – lets see what this little die set does”!!.  And here is the (very quick) card I made.  Thank you so much Simon Says Stamp peeps – you are AWESOME!

partial flowers SSSI used my other new set (from Simon Says Stamp as it happens) Sketchy Letters by Mama Elephant (LOVE).  Don’t look too closely – the letters aren’t lined up quite as I’d have liked but I was in a rush!!!!).

Right, better get on with what I’m supposed to be doing – just wanted to share a little story about good customer care when all too often we complain about the exact opposite!!!!

ETA: The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is “Die Crazy” – need to link this baby up then don’t I?!
