Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

BLING IT ON !

I think most of us like a bit of bling, especially at Christmas, so now is the time to get your glitters and gems out ! We are looking forward to seeing what sparkly creations you make this week !

My all-time favourite Christmas film is Elf – I NEVER tire of it and this Fa La La stamp from Kaisercraft features one of my favourite quotes! I’ve been making a bundle of these wine bottle tags this year and for this one I die cut the Avery Elle Cheers die from green card and then made a smaller panel from white. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and then embossed it in Silver Tinsel embossing powder from Ranger. I added a bit of silver thread and some gems and kept it nice and simple.

Simon Says – It’s Christmas!!!!

Thank you for joining us for the Anything Goes Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAYS

We are showcasing STAMPENDOUS products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

I just can’t leave the gold alone at the moment – I just have to get it on my card somewhere!!! I used the Stampendous Snowfall rubber cling stamp for my background and stamped it in Versamark then embossed it in Enchanted Gold embossing powder by Ranger. I then die-cut the beautiful snowflake from the Noel die collection by Avery Elle from gold card stock and also added a noel sentiment (from Clearly Besotted) in the same gold. I added my obligatory wrap of gold thread to finish and then mounted the panel on more gold card and popped it onto my A2 card base.

I’ve been using the gorgeous November Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp which contained the gorgeous Snow Day 6×6 papers from Lawn Fawn – I love the colour scheme, there’s something very 50’s vintage about it. The font on the Happy Holidays sentiment reminds me of that too – I love it!

The card kit is out of stock but you can still pick up the elements separately including the Be Joyful stamp set and Lawn Fawn papers.
