Be Jolly

Hello crafty peeps – today I’m over on the Avery Elle blog sharing a card featuring one of my favourite sets from the Fall release – Be Jolly.  This is another set designed by the insanely talented Heather Campbell – isn’t that the cutest snowman ever??  I created a panel by cutting a snow slope from white card using Custom Panels and layered it onto some Sea Glass card.  I then used Finished Frames to cut the two-tone panel.  The background effect was created with the Falling Snow stencil from Simon Says Stamp with white embossing paste which I then coated with Glitter Ritz white glitter. I finished the top of the slope with white Flower Soft (which I added to the snowman’s hat too)!.

More gingerbread anyone?

Teaser Time

Hello – back today with another peek at the new sets available from Clearly Besotted this month.  Today I have another couple of cards using Naughty or Nice and another using the beautiful Winter Blooms set.

I just love the sweet gingerbread images in the Naughty or Nice set – they make such a simple focal poont to a card (great for whipping up those quick last minute cards we all need!!).

The Winter Blooms set has some stunning floral images in it – I love this snowdrop design – I masked it and stamped it three times to give a band of flowers – so simple to colour.

Be sure to check out the DT samples again today and pop over to Stephanie’s blog for all the details of the new release.

Teaser Time at Clearly Besotted!

Teaser Time

It’s the start of a new month and that means a new release at Clearly Besotted.  As always there are some gorgeous stamps and dies coming out for November so I’ll crack on and share what I’ve been up to with two of my favourite sets of this release – Naughty or Nice and Birch Trees.

Now I’m on the fence about this card because I couldn’t think where to put the sentiment!!  I decided rather than try to squeeze one in I would just leave it off – it doesn’t quite seem finished though – hey ho – I guess that happens sometimes!!

Make sure you pop by to visit the rest of the design team and check out their amazing cards. We also have two amazing guest designers – Cindy Lovell and Pia Larsen so you’ve got even more inspiration to get you tempted this month!!  I’ll be back tomorrow with some more sneak peeks – thanks for stopping by.

Hugs,
