Avery Elle: Balloons

Hi there – today I’m sharing a card I created using the fabulous Balloons stamp set and dies from Avery Elle.

I love the large scale of the balloons mixed with smaller ones giving you so many options to play with.  I used this set HERE to make a shaker card using the dies – they’re perfect for that technique.

Avery Elle: #Smile!

Hello there!  Today I’m sharing a card made with the amazing #SMILE stamp set from Avery Elle.  I LOVE this set – the camera is a great size for all kinds of techniques (I loved using it with the paper piecing technique HERE).  Today I’ve just gone with a wee bit of Copic colouring and some perfectly placed Glossy Accents and kept it simple.  The fabulous Avery Elle cardstock strips give it a bold lift of colour too.

Smile 1I love the trendy # sentiments and I think this set is great for the younger generation (so I gave it to my niece on her 13th birthday!!).

As it happens there is a fun challenge going on at the moment over at Moxie Fab World entitled “Clicking Cameras” and so I thought it’d be almost rude not to share this card over there!!!  They’re offering a gorgeous stamp set from Paper Smooches too – yay!

Avery Elle – Surf’s Up.

Hello there!  Today I’m sharing a card using my favourite set from the Summer release from Avery Elle – Surf’s Up!  I have a passion for VW Campervans and vintage caravans – I love them!  I have WAY too many children to make owning one at all practical but I envisage me and hubby in our sunset years – pitching up on the beach in our aqua-coloured van watching the world go by!!  So here is my vision – on a card!!  I’m asleep on a sun-lounger just behind that sand dune, lol!!

Surf's Up 1

I used the Tim Holtz spritzer to create the sand effect and distress inks for the sky.  The palm tree was masked and stamped several times to create the background and then the campervan was coloured with Copics, cut out and popped on some foam adhesive.

Well thanks for dropping by – I really appreciate all your lovely comments so thanks for taking the time to visit.
