Wet for 2 reasons – 1. It’s raining and 2. We took the 5 kids swimming to West Kirby Concourse (our local municipal sports centre) this morning. Because of the ages of our children (eldest is 9, youngest is 11 months) there are restrictions on the ratio of children to adults in public pools. Now that Daniel and Olivia are 9 and 8 we ar able to all go – hurrah! It is a headache and something of a military operation to get them in and out but nevertheless we all had a great time.
Strawberries and Cream anyone?
Ok, as the name may have suggested – I LOVE GLITTER. The more sparkly something is the more I just desire it! Well, I made this card the other day and have to say the glitter on it looks gorgeous in real life. I die cut three strawberries (quickutz) from red bazzil to which I had stuck some adhesive sheets. I peeled off the backing and dipped it in the red glitter and it is just lovely. I can see these little strawberries appearing all over the place now.
Hmm, I wonder if it’s too late in the season for srawberry picking? I need some photos to go with the LO I now need to do!!!!
I LOVE Pink Petticoat!
I am so loving my new discovery. I have always dismissed CD-roms and things like that as they always seem to be full of a lot of stuff that just isn’t my style(ie, out of the Create and Craft stable – no offence to anyone who likes their stuff – personally I find most of it horrendous! (runs and hides). However, I have recently stumbled across Pink Petticoat and her designs are just gorgeous. I love the Cheekies download with all the little frilly underwear images and yesterday downloaded a new christmas one. Haven’t had a chance to play with that one yet but itching to now. Actually, these little frillies would make great chrismtas cards if they were done in red – yum.
