Glitter Me Silly

I thought this was such a nice sketch so had to have a play. I haven’t followed it EXACTLY because I did the middle mat a wee bit too big and couldn’t fit the text above and blow, hence the off set greeting!!

I don’t think I’ve actually used this Gorjuss girl before but she is so sweet. She’s coloured with promarkers ( poppy, ruby and maroon for the dress and a variety of browns for the hair with a wee bit of cool grey on the legs and shoes). The papers are Stampin Up! (Summer Picnic) and the ribbon is from Rasberry Ribbons.

I am so utterly thrilled and overwhelmed to be able to tell you that I have been selected to be on the design team for the new challenge blog, Passion for Promarkers. I just found out about an hour ago and so now that it has been announced over on the blog, I can shout it from the rooftops too!! I have become addicted to my lovley promarkers over the last few months so when I saw that there was going to be a whole challenge blog dedicated to them I was so chuffed. Now that I have been chosen for the DT I am just peeing my self with excitement (sorry, TMI)!!

Anyone out there who either loves their promarkers or just wants to see what all the the fuss is about, should make sure they get over to the blog on 26th May when the fun kicks off. The first 4 weeks challenge colours are already posted so grab yourself a few pens and have a go.

Well, I’m off to tell hubby all about it and he will look back at me with a vacant smile and say “very nice dear” and go back to his book. Eeeee I’m so excited.

CELEBRATION

A Spoonful of Sugar is 1 today!
A very easy challenge for you all this week over at A Spoonful of Sugar so I hope we get lots of entries. I try to look at all of them every week (although I don’t always have time to comment on every one) and love looking at the different ideas you all come up with. This week we want to see a card for a Celebration. This can be for any occasion -birthday, wedding, anniversary, baby etc, etc – the world is your lobster!!!
There are a whole HEAP of prizes to be won this week so if ever there was a week to get your card in there, this is the one!!

I have used my Stampin Up! “Crazy for Cupcakes” set which I LOVE. I have coloured the image with my Promarkers (cinnamon, rose, satin, apricot, poppy) and pp is from the Sweet Stack by DCWV. I have glamour dusted the image too (hard to see) and so I am entering this card in this weeks Secret Crafter challenge -which is my favourite thing of all GLITTER!!

There are some amazing creations from the DT this week too and we have two lovely GDT’s – Marlou and Deb (previous DT members).
