A Spoonful of Sugar #56 – Sketch by Michelle,

We have a lovely sketch to follow this week over at A Spoonful of Sugar created by the gorgeous Michelle. The DT have all done fabulous cards with it so pop over to the blog for a look. We also have a great prize on offer from the Character Cafe. Here is my card featuring one of the gorgeous new Anya stamps. She coloured with promarkers and the paper is Doodlebug. The ribbon and felt flowers came from this months gorgeous kit from Raspberry Ribbons.

Right, on with the housework (boo hoo).

Passion For Promarkers #4 – Berry Red and Royal Blue

Tuesday challenge
It’s time for a new challenge over at Passion For Promarkers and this week the colours we want to see are Berry Red and Royal Blue. I was a tad worried when I first set out to make this card as these colours are not ones I would normally put together. However, when I started to see what the other DT members were coming up with I felt inspired and came up with mine!!

I have used a Greeting Farm digi download, Dorothy Anya (sans the dog!) and been quite simple with the colouring this week sticking to the main challenge colours on the dress and then a mixture of vanilla, mustard and a touch of cocoa for the hair. The papers are from a DCWV stack I bought on QVC. Our prize this week is from Whimsy Stamps and is a gorgeous Princess Emma stamp.

Ok, this is a quick one as I didn’t get time to schedule this post and am meant to be in the car on the way to the dentist right now!!

Will pop back later with my Spoonful of Sugar card!!

Cupcake Crafts Challenge #44 – Father’s day (more than a card).

Ok, so I know I never read the brief properly and yes, this IS just a card!! I was so pleased with myself for getting it finished but when I went to upload it into the DT folder I realised what I had done!! Oh well, that’ll teach me! I have used a digi stamp from Digi Stamp Boutiqie. I’ve printed him a few times and then layered him up for a bit of dimension. He’s coloured with promarkers and the sentiment is made with some good, old-fashioned peel off letters!

The other DT members have actually managed to learn to read properly and made some amazing creations so pop over to Cupcake Crafts for a look. We also have a fabulous prize this week which is a $40 voucher for Peachy Keen Stamps.

Right, it’s my second youngest’s 5th birthday today (Happy Birthday Sophie) and I have a wee bit to do for her little birthday tea later. It’s not her party till next week so we’re just having a little family thing today. Also, my SiL has been in labour since Saturday so we’re also all on pins waiting for some good news there too.

Hopefully be back later with the result!!!

Hugs,
