Glitter Me Silly

Gosh, I have been so snowed under with my DT commitments lately that I have barely had a moment to think about all the other wonderful challenge blogs I so love to visit. With the sad news that Cupcake Crafts will be no longer running after the next challenge, I am hoping that I may get a little more time to get about a bit more!

Much to my pleasure I have managed to get a card done for this weeks Passion For Papertrey challenge which is to use buttons. Everything (except the buttons) is from PTI – Raspberry Fizz. The Hello sentiment was pinched off the envelope of a cute little note card my gorgeous pal Steph sent me a while back. These papers are just so beautiful IRL. I do wish I’d ironed the ribbon though!!

The challenge colours this week over at Passion for Promarkers are Moss and Poppy. From now on the DT will take it in turns to pick the colour scheme and choose the challenge. This week it was my turn!! Now, the challenge has a twist – not only do you have to use the challenge colours of Moss and Poppy but you must also include something tasty!! Interpret this how you wish!!!

My card turned out completely differently to what I had originally intended. When I chose the colours I had a Christmas theme in my head! Then I got this WOJ stamp and knew I wanted to use that instead. The strawberries are a quickutz die covered in glitter – why not?

Hope to see you over at the blog and can’t wait to check out your creations. We will be giving out a fabulous new blinkie to the top 5 each week – now who wouldn’t want that flashing away on their blogs?! This week it will be my task to pick them – I anticipate this won’t be easy!!
