Mo’s Digital Challenge #14 – Sketch by Lisa

Wow, how did I not remember to post this – so sorry for being so late with it!!  I am a bit preoccupied at the moment and with Chris still away skiing I’m chasing my tail a bit with the kids!
Well, better late than never I suppose.  This week at Mo’s we have a great sketch by our January hostess, Lisa.  It was lovely and simple to follow – just my kinda sketch!!

I have used this fabulous image called “For You” and coloured her with ProMarkers.  The rest of the team have made some amazing examples so please do pop over for a peek.
Right, this has to be a quickie as dinner’s in the oven, kids are in the bath and mummy needs it to be bedtime NOW!!!!

Passion For ProMarkers week 30 – Cool Aqua and Cocoa.

We are at Week 30 of our challenges over at Passion For ProMarkers – golly, where did that time go?!  We have a colour combo challenge this week which is Cool aqua and cocoa.  I’ve used this sweet little image available from Mo’s Digial Pencil – anyone with a daughter can relate to this I think!  The paper and cardstock are both Stampin Up and the Prima’s and MS punch were both from my gorgeous friend Steph.  Hop over to the blog to see the rest of the DT creations – there’s such fabulous variety this week – hope you can join us.

Right, this is a quickie as I’m sorting clothes into wardrobes and it is a MOUNTAIN!!  I’m missing my hubby so am trying to get jobs done that I’ve been putting off for weeks (like ironing, lol).  It keeps me busy!
Take care wherever you are.

Miss You!

I was inspired by my lovely friend Aimes with this card.  She made the sweetest little card for her boyfriend Chris and thought she might slip it into his lunch box one day (awwww).  My hubby Chris is jetting off to France for a skiing holiday in a few hours (assuming his flight out of Liverpool isn’t cancelled) and so I thought I’d take Aimes’ lead and slip a little card into his suitcase for him to find when he gets there.  I just got this gorgeous little stamp set – Darling Dots (Level 1 hostess gift from Stampin Up) and thought the heart would be perfect.  I have used three of my favourite Papertrey Ink inks – Aqua Mist, Pure Poppy and Spring Moss and matched it with scraps of card I had lying around.  I used my circle nesties for the, erm, circles!  The sentiment is also from PTI (Mega mixed messages) and the little flourish is from a magazine freebie set from ages ago.
Right better go and make sure he’s packed enough clean pants and socks.  Knowing him all he’s got are his ski boots and some gloves!!

Hugs,
