Mo’s Digital Challenge #10 – A note of thanks.

It’s week 10 already over at Mo’s Challenge Blog and our hostess for December, Lydia wants us to make a “thank you” card.  This is the first non-Christmas card I’ve made in weeks!!  I have used the stunning “Sugar” fairy available HERE and coloured her with PMs and stickles.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and the papers are from the Sweet stack by DCWV. Hope to see your creations this week over at the blog.

I’m off to the Lakes today to clear out our flooded apartment in the Marina Village in Bowness.  I’m dreading it as EVERYTHING has to be taken out – including the carpets!!  My gorgeous little apartment is wrecked – I’m gutted!  I have to be thankful that it’s not our actual home though and we’re insured so things could be a lot worse.  We could’ve not sold our boat 2 and half months ago which, as I saw on a slideshow on YouTube is now completely under water!!!

Hope you have a better day where ever you are!

Hugs,

Cupcake Crafts Challenge ‘#69 – Sing a Christmas carol (and it’s my birthday too!!!)

Our challenge this week at Cupcake Crafts is to use a line from a Christmas song on your card so I have used the “Tis the season to be jolly” line from “Deck the Halls”.  The sentiment and papers are from Pink Petticoat and the Christmas tree stamp and Raspberry Fizz card are from Papertrey Ink.  As the current challenge over at A Passion For Papertrey is Christmas trees then I am also entering this card over there!!

Right, hubby is taking me for lunch and a spot of Christmas shopping today for my birthday and then we’re all going out for dinner once the kids are home from school.  Have a great day wherever you are.

Hugs,

Mo’s Digital Pencil Challenge #9 – Christmas card for someone special.

For the month of December our fabulous challenge host is Lydia Bancroft and her first challenge the theme is “Someone Special”. Make a Christmas card for someone special on your list. You must use the traditional colours of Christmas (red, green, gold, silver, blue – you get to pick!).  Our DT have made some gorgeous creations with some of my absolute favourite images from Mo so please pop over to the Challenge Blog and have a go.

I have chosen the sweet Penguin with gift, available at Mo’s Digital Pencil.  He’s coloured with ProMarkers and there is the obligatory sprinkling of stickles for the snow!!

Hope to see you over at the blog.

Hugs,
