Glitter Me Silly

I have been honoured in the last few days to have been nominated for some gorgeous blog awards and so thought I’d better get them posted and passed on!!  It’s always a nice feeling when someone shows how much they appreciate the things you do so to the ladies who gave me these awards – THANK YOU SO MUCH.

The Beautiful Blogger award has been passed to me by two awesomely creative and talented girls – Marina and Claudette.  The rules are that you have to pass it on to 15 bloggers who you have found recently and to share 7 facts about yourself (this is the bit I don’t like – I’m so dull).  So here goes:

1. I have a real thing for Vampires!!  Always have, always will!!
2. I didn’t get dressed today until lunchtime!
3. I have 5 kids but still get broody!
4. I am extremely indecisive (I think).
5. I love Great White Sharks!
6. I HATE shopping if it’s not anything to do with craft supplies.
7. Did I say I love Vampires??

Ooh, how wonderful to be able to get back outside on a sunny day and take photographs without having to set up elaborate backdrops to improve the lighting!!  It is truly glorious here today – the kids are all dispersed off in various modes of play and I am just enjoying a peaceful Sunday (I haven’t even gotten dressed yet and it’s 12.30, lol)

I had a little play last night making this card for my frind – she loves butterflies.  The flourishy leaf is from PTI’s Turning a New Leaf set (in Hibiscus Burst) and the sentiment is from the extrememly useful Mega Mixed Messages set (in Ocean tides to match the button and punched butterflies).  The paper is from Pretty Pastels – all PTI.

Right, back off to the garden to soak up some rays!

After Cathy’s challenging challenge last week we have something a little easier on the old brain cells over at Mo’s this week!!  Use 3 different punches on your project.  I have used this sweet little image “You’re Kinda Cute”, available here.  He’s coloured with my trusty ProMarkers and my three punches are the two different hearts and the scalloped edge.  Pop over to Mo’s for some more inspiration from the rest of the DT.
