WELCOME TO THE PASSION FOR PROMARKERS BLOG HOP!!

Over at Passion for promarkers challenge this week we are celebrating the change of design teams with a blog hop.  I’m sure you are as excited as I am as there are lots of lovely goodies up for grabs!!  We also have a few new faces on the design team so I hope you will leave them a nice comment to welcome them. 
Firstly if you’ve arrived at my blog from ANJA’S blog you are in the right place, if not return to the challenge blog and start your hop again.  Our blog hop challenge will last for 2 weeks so you have plenty of time to enter your card (or cards) and hop around the whole design team. 

Our challenge theme for the next two weeks is “old & new” i.e. a brand new stamp/digi with old papers etc.  Please can you tell us your old and new items in your post.  Don’t forget to use your promarkers or aqua markers to be included in our prize draw.

The “OLD” in my card is the stamp (from last year which I never used!!) and the “NEW” is the snowflake charm.

As you’ve read on the challenge blog the design team are also offering some candy of their own, so please leave me a comment on this post and I will randomly draw a winner for a promarker prize courtesy of Letraset. 
You also have a “mystery word” to find and my contribution is the letter “R”.  Make a note of my letter and then proceed to DEBS for the next part of the hop.  If you get lost on the hop at all just return to the challenge blog for full directions. 
I just want to let you know the wonderful prizes up for grabs for our blog hop challenge:

Yes indeedy peeps today marks the start of a fab new challenge over on A Passion for Papertrey.  This time we want you to use up some of those bits and bobs we lovingly refer to as “scraps”.  Go on, admit it – you have some form of vessel literally overflowing with little bits of card, paper and ribbon.  Well we are challenging you to put them to use and create something fabulous – just make sure you use something “Papertrey Ink” in your creation. 

Here’s what i came up with:

Ok, off to sort the kids out – we’re off out for dinner tonight so no cooking for me – yay!

When our youngest daughter Pippa decided she didn’t like being in her own room and insisted on getting into bed with her big sister Olivia every night (despite the fact that Olivia shares her bed with about 20 stuffed animals including an almost life-sized unicorn AND one of our cats – seems to be his favourite sleeping spot)  we thought it best to move them in together.  Of course that free’d up one of the bedrooms.  So what was I expected to do with it?  Make it a laundry room, a play room, a guest bedroom?  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!  It is now our family craft room!  I added a couple of extra desks and an Expedit unit from Ikea and here is the result so far:

Olivia still has her own desk where she does homework etc (she’s a big crafter too).  I also haven’t sorted out any proper storage system for the shelves so will need to take a wee trip back to Ikea for that!  I also think it is lacking in colour and decoration so will have to work on that too! 

 

By the way, this is the tidiest this room is ever likely to be.  I can’t wait to play in it!!
