Glitter Me Silly

I know it’s been a while since I posted but life is pretty hectic for me at the moment.  We have had a few busy weekends and it continues for the foreseeable future with Sophie’s first holy communion this weekend, Georgia’s 10th birthday the weekend after and then after that our 18 day trip to Florida!!  I guess it’s going to be fairly quiet around here for the next couple of months.

So, for today here is my card for the new challenge over on A Passion For Papertrey.  This time we’re challenging you to use circles.  Although Aimes (my DT buddy) was able to come up with an AMAZING out of the box design – I went for a more simple approach!!  In other words I punch a load of circles out of PTI pp and layered them up!!  I love Raspberry Fizz and Aqua Mist together – swoon.

The colours I’ve gone for on this one are aqua and orange (Aqua Mist and Summer Sunrise – PTI).  I double-inked the stamp to give the two-tone effect.  The sentiment is a Think Big Favourites stamp and I’ve run the main panel through the big shot with the linen/canvas impression plate (PTI) for a bit of extra texture!

I had so much fun with this one – I did it again – in a different colour!!

I’ve made another acetate card using a gorgeous Besty Veldman inspired colour scheme – love these colours together and Betsy does it so well.
