Happy News for a dear friend!

Many of you who pop by this blog will also be very familiar with a dear friend of mine – the uber-talented Amy Wanford.  Well, after 10 years of “living over the brush” as my dear gran would say, her beloved Chris (Gray – I know!!) has asked her to be his wife!! Yay – I see a hen night somewhere in my future!!

Well, anyway, to celebrate and congratulate this wonderful couple I have made them a card – and here it is…

As you can see, I can’t keep away from that rose from Blooming Marvellous (Clearly Besotted) and I’ve been at it again with the masked embossing – love this technique (especially now I’ve figured out how it’s done!!).

So congrats Aimes – I couldn’t be happier!

More roses – can you tell how much I adore this stamp set from Clearly Besotted??

I used a technique on this card I’ve been wanting to try for ages – masked embossing (don’t think that’s what its called but that’s what I did!!
Will try it again I think – quite like the effect!
