Production Line!

So here’s what I discovered this week…  I can actually mass produce cards!!  I have never ever been able to make more than a couple of the same design cards – I just get bored very quickly.  This means when it comes to Christmas, it takes me forever to get the 80 or so cards that I need done.  Well I’ve had SO much on these past couple of months that this year I just have had no choice but to make a big bundle of the same (or very nearly – none are identical!!).  To be honest – it wasn’t THAT bad – and I managed to make about 30 of these!  I’m still short by about 20 (I have others I have been making along the way too) so will need to come up with another design for those!!

(Deer Christmas)
Stamps: Lil Inkers Instant Camera Christmas(Lil Inkers), Holiday Lights (PTI)
Cardstock: PTI, Pink Petticoat
Dies: Leaping Deer (Memory Box), Stitched rectangles (Lil Inkers)

Be Inspired.

Thats the challenge over at A Passion for Papertrey this time.  Aimes picked a fabulous image for us to be inspired by and speaks to me on so many levels – namely because of the red!!1

Here’s the photo….

And here’s my creation…

{25 December}
Stamps: Background Basics: Christmas, Simple Alphabet
Cardstock: Kraft, Stampers Select White, Pure Poppy
Ink: Smokey Shadow, Distress Ink (Old Paper)
Dies: Fillable Frames #9, Love Lives Here dies, Modern alphabet, Stitched rectangles (lil Inkers), Snowflakes (Sizzix)
Other: Felt, bakers twine, stickles

I went for a postal sort of look with the Kraft and baker’s twine.  I used quite a few dies on this too – my newest love being the stitched rectangles from Lil’ Inkers – so useful!!

Hope you get a chance in between all your Christmas prep to pop over to the blog and check out the challenge.

Hugs,
Caryn x

A bit more Christmas!!

Just a quick post to share another card made with Clearly Besotted’s Signature Christmas stamp set.  This time I’ve used the gorgeous bauble image – love the mix-matchyness in this set!!
