Glitter Me Silly

Just swooping in to share the details of a new challenge over Paulina’s blog for the 10 Minute Craft Dash.  I haven’t had time to film a video for this one – been a very busy few weeks – so I’ll get straight on to the card.  This time we have one of Paulina’s gorgeous colour schemes to work with:

I used a new die from Memory Box (got a bit of a thing going at the moment for word dies!) and the new Basic Stripes set from Clearly Besotted.  I LOVE stripes – in fact, I think they may be taking over my love of polka dots!!!!!

Where did weather come from – it’s like being in the tropics here in the UK at the moment – I LOVE IT!!

I’m just popping in with a little card I made using the FAB Going Places stamp set from Clearly Besotted.  This set features lots of little transport images and one of my favourites is the bicycle – great for cards for boys AND girls!  I think this card leans towards a more feminine feel – what with the pink bike and all!!

If you haven’t had a chance to check out the latest release of stamps from Clearly Besotted then pop on over to the store – this has been one of the best releases yet!!  (Don’t I always say that?? )

Hope you’re managing to keep cool where ever you are – and don’t forget the sunblock too!  (Lol, consider yourselves “TOLD”!)

Hi all – I know I’m a wee bit late posting this but life has been just a tad chaotic recently with one thing and another.  Nearly every evening (when I do most of my crafting and blogging) has been taken up with school stuff – leaver’s events, music recitals, presentation evenings etc.  I’ll be so glad when they’re all finally finished for the summer on Friday!

So onto the card.  The second Clearly Besotted challenge is up and running over on Steph’s blog – Stamping and Sharing.  The brief this time around is to feature spots so I chose to use three of the sets from latest release –Basic Stripes,  Time to Relax and Shine Bright.  Both are amazing sets with fabulous sentiments and they are scaled to work perfectly together and the stripes are SO useful.

I apologise for the bad quality photo – I was stuck with taking it at night so the lighting was POOR!!

The challenge runs until 23rd July so you still have plenty of time to enter.
