Glitter Me Silly

Hi there.  Here to share a card I’ve been planning on making since I first saw the Set The Scene stamps set from Clearly Besotted.  I knew it would make a great shaker card so that’s what I’ve made today!

I’ve used the snowglobe die with stamps from the Tasty Treats stamp set and filled the shaker part with cupcake sprinkles.  It was fiddly to make but I’ve realised a few things whilst creating it that will make it work better for me next time!!

I’m entering this into the General Craft Supplies challenge over at Moxie fab World too!  I was looking at some of the entries so far – very cool ideas there!!

Good morning – it’s back to work today after a busy weekend – my 13 year old daughter had 6 friends over for a sleepover – very late night – they NEVER stop talking!!  I did however just have time to whip up this little number using (one of the few sets yet to sell out) Pretty Poinsettia from the brand new release from Clearly Besotted.  (By the way, there is still time to join in the Birthday Blog Hop – just go here for the details).

The embossing paste has been out again too – love this trend at the moment!

Today I’m sharing a card I made with Modern Christmas (designed by one of my besties’s, Aimes).  It’s so pretty and the fonts on the sentiments are fabulous.  The sentiment on my card is actually from Holiday Sentiments – another great set from this month’s release.

I have gold embossed the sentiment  – but as always, that’s hard to see in the photo!!
