Clearly Besotted March Challenge – In Flight!

Challenge

It’s the 10th of the month and we have a fabulous new challenge over at Clearly Besotted Stamps blog. The theme this time is In Flight so think of anything that flies or has wings!  I’ve used one of the butterflies from the gorgeous new Elegant Butterflies set and paired it with some lush golden stripes (Delicata ink – my new obsession) from the Basic Stripes stamp set.

March Challenge In FlightThe rest of the DT have some fabulous samples to share too so make sure you pop over to Steph’s blog for all the details – there’s a £30 store voucher up for grabs for one lucky winner too!!

Good Times!

It’s the last day of sneak peaks over at Clearly Besotted – tonight is the night and all the new stamps and dies will be available at 10pm.  The card I have today features a cute little bicycle from a new set called Good Times and I’ve paired it with a big bunch of bright balloons from the previously released Make A Wish.

Good TimesThe banner and sentiment are from one of the other new sets being released tonight – Take Flight.  So what’s on your wish-list then?  There’s some amazing sets this month – I don’t know how I’d choose!!!

Thanks for stopping by.

Elegant Butterflies…

… is the next set I’m highlighting from the new March release from Clearly Besotted Stamps. This set is just beautiful and is sure to be just as popular as Stephanie’s Butterfly Wishes set – one of the very first ones she ever released (wow, that seems like AGES ago now!!).  The possibilities with this set are just endless and with the ever-important co-ordinating dies, I predict this is going to, quite literally, fly off the shelves on release night!!  The first card shows three of the butterfly images included in the set and I have stamped them in Memento Tuxedo black and then coloured them with Copics.

My second card is little less “clean” – I’ve been at it again with my Heidii Swapp colour shine mists (LOVE them).  I die cut the stem from Leafy Accents Die Collection from masking paper then adhered it to my card before spraying the mists (Seafoam and Gold Lame).  When you remove the mask you are left with a subtle, outline effect where the masking paper was.  It’s easier to see the effect (and of course it’s much more shimmery) in real life!!

Happy Birthday March

That’s it for today but I have even more tomorrow so hope to see you again then!!

Don’t forget – the new release will go live at 10pm on Wednesday 5th March!
