A trio of cards!

Good evening – popping in to share three little cards I whipped up to send to three special friends!  If you squint you can just make out some groovy matching envelopes made using my newest gadget – the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board – LOVE!  The cards are dinky so I didn’t have any envelopes to go with them – what a cool and clever thing it is!! Design a tree

I used one of the new stamp sets from Clearly Besotted – Design A Tree with some patterned paper from Papertrey Ink.  I am loving the new Avery Elle pigment inks too – love how they clean off the stamps so well too!!

Well, it’s WAY past my bed time now – thanks for stopping by xxx.

Clearly Besotted Sneak Peaks – day 4

Good morning – it’s the weekend – yay – sadly I have to work today – boo – but when I’m done it’s Saturday night – yay!!

I’m here today to share the last of the peaks of the new release from Clearly Besotted – available tonight at 10pm BST.  This month’s release is fantastic – a fact I’m sure has not been missed by all you devoted CBS fans out there!!!

Pretty Petals tulips

This card and tag combo features the gorgeous tulip image and die from Pretty Petals.  I know I’m fairly predictable but this just lends itself to my favourite all-time colour combo!  I’ve used some of my new Avery Elle supplies here – namely the inks and cardstock.  That gorgeous green is the Lemon Grass colour and the red on the tulips is Cherry – yummy!  The sentiments are from everyone’s favourite go-to set – A Little Sentimental (seriously, how did I survive BALS!!)

So anyway – please hop over to Steph’s blog for more inspiration from the DT and GDT’s and make sure you stay up for the release at 10pm (BST) – you know how these sets have a habit of disappearing FAST!

Clearly Besotted April Release Day 3

Hi all.  So what have you thought of the sneak peaks so far?  Fabulous aren’t they?  Have you picked a favourite yet from what you’ve seen?  No?  Then let me see if this helps!  Today my card features the Time To Celebrate stamp set and co-ordinating dies.  There is also an Additions set of time-related sentiments to go with the main images set so this really is a very versatile set.

Thanks for a lovely time

I inked some Peacock Feather distress ink into some watercolour paper and added a few drops of water to add a wee bit of extra detail.  You may not be able to pick it up but the panel has then been “spritzed with little silver speckles.   For this I used my new toy – the Tim Holtz Distress Marker Spritzer.  I actually used it with a very old silver Krylon pen which I also ran along the bottom edge of the panel.  I was quite amazed how it worked actually!!!  I die cut the hands of the clock from silver mirri card (yes, it is about 10 years old) and stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx black.

For more delights and inspiration please visit Steph and the rest of the DT and GDTs (Tracey and Laurie) – they’re sharing some amazing projects today.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs,

Caryn xxx
