Avery Elle – Storybook

I am proud to be showcasing my favourite set from the current release over at Avery Elle – Storybook.  It was designed by the gorgeous and very sweet Heather Campbell and features the cutest little critters ever!  I have three cards to share today so I’ll get on with it shall I?

I know this set has been extremely popular since it was released and I am not at all surprised.  Heather has created such a special set and I am thrilled everyone loves it as much as I do!

Well, I better get myself off to bed – can’t handle these late nights any more (must be getting old!!).

Designing for Taylored Expressions – Bon Voyage!

Well – here I am still playing catch up!!  My first projects as a blog design team member at Taylored Expressions was up over on their blog last week and I am so happy to now be sharing them here. I’ve been busy creating some projects with the Bon Voyage stamp set and a few of the amazing TE dies and here’s what I came up with.

I’m starting with a card I made for my Dad’s birthday.  He’s working away from home at the moment in a ship builders firm and so this sentiment and image were the perfect combination for his card.

My next project uses another image from the Bon Voyage set but this time I used it to create a little treat packaging idea.

Pirate Gold (detail) Pirate Gold And last but not least I created this card as a request from my son Daniel who needed a card in a hurry for his friend (who happens to be a keen sailor)!  How appropriate that I still had this set out on my desk!  Oh, and I can’t take credit for the knot – Daniel did that!!

Avery Elle – Woodgrain and More

Aaargh – so behind on my posts thanks to the Easter break!  I’m not complaining mind – we had a fabulous family holiday and spent some amazing days in the company of some great friends – it was so nice!!  It’s back to the normal regime now though so got LOTS to catch up on and share with you on my blog. you colour my world small

This morning I’m sharing my card latest card for Avery Elle – this time I’ve been playing with Woodgrain and More and slipped in a sentiment from Red and Goldie (LOVE that handwritten font).  I’ve gone quite plain and simple with this and added a wee pop of colour in the form of two die-cut hearts from the Red and Goldie die collection.

Right – I have another few posts to put together so will hop to it.
