Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Let’s Get Sentimental Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

INSPIRATION COLOR SWATCH

Isn’t this ‘Sweet Treats’ Color Combination lovely ! Thank you Jenn for creating this awesome color swatch, those cupcakes sure do look yummy ! You can choose one or more colors from the swatch, they don’t have to be Simon’s Brand, but please try to get a close match.

We are showcasing our very own SIMON SAYS STAMP EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTS this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

I LOVE this colour combo and it goes perfectly with the Sweet Treats line from Simon Says Stamp. I stamped the Artful Flowers using ink pads from the Sweet Treats release (Doll Pink, Mint, Cotton Candy and Audrey Blue) and then fussy cut them out. The frame was created using the Stitched Rectangles dies and the sentiment is from Hand Lettered stamp set. The middle of the flowers are highlighted with a white gel pen and the sentiment is embossed in white also.

Avery Elle – Numbered Balloons

Hey there, I’m on the Avery Elle blog today with a card I created for my friend who recently celebrated her 40th birthday. I am loving the look of black white and gold right now so I took the “40” balloons and die cut them before heating them in gold embossing powder. I then stamped the greeting from the same set in gold and mounted them onto a panel cut with the smaller of the frames from Finished Frames. I took a sheet of patterned paper from the Neutral Collection and finished with a sprinkling of sequins.

The Perfect Day

I’ve been playing again with the Simon Says Stamp May Card kit and I am totally in love with the soft colours and gold accents – such a sophisticated palette. I love the kits for being able to pull together a card that looks so professional and cohesive – I so enjoy getting them every month.

I used some of the stunning My Mind’s Eye papers and accented with a few extra bits of gold bling (some gold thread and sequins) and the card came together in no time.
