Avery Elle … Kitsch Christmas

blogheadersmall2

Hey!  I’m sharing a card over on the Avery Elle Blog today featuring one of the sets I designed for the Fall release this year.  I can’t deny I LOVE how this set turned out and I am so pleased that lots of people seem to love it too.

To frame my main image I used the Sweet Scallops die collection – I like how this adds to the retro feel of this card.  I used distress inks to add a bit of colour around the card edges and on the oval panel and finished with a few little stars and sentiment from Retro Ornaments.

Oh, and for those who have been asking – there’s a restock of all stamps due in the store at the end of the week – yay!!

Thanks for stopping by x

I had a ball creating this spooky little Halloween treat box for this week’s challenge.  Lawn Fawn make amazing box dies and this one is so cute.  I can see me getting lots of use out of it in the run up to Christmas!  BUT, we’ve got Halloween to enjoy before that 🙂

This was pretty simple to put together.  I cut the box out of SSS Fog cardstock and then used the circle die from Stitched Tree Borders to make an window (I put acetate behind it to stop the candy corn from falling out!)  I then cut the tree border in black and lined it up on the box so it falls in front of the window. I created the sentiment from Milo’s ABC’s which is heat embossed in white and then finished  off with a wee bit of Doodlebug twine in Beetle Black!

Avery Elle … Holiday Glass and Christmas Packages

Hey there!  I have a couple of cards up on the Avery Elle blog today featuring more of the Fall 2016 release.  First up is a card made with the gorgeous Christmas Packages set that I’ve teamed with the fabulous sentiment set, Comfort and Joy.  To frame it I’ve used the Postage Stamp die – such a useful set!

Next up is the Holiday Glass set.  I stamped the poinsettia image twice so I could pop up the second one and add a bit of dimension.
