Hello – today I get to share my first post for Avery Elle as an actual, honest-to-goodness design teamie!!  I recently picked up the gorgeous Home Sweet Home set – love the images in this set – and created a little “new home” card using the very cute teepee stamp.  I still can’t seem to step away from the gold supplies at the moment and created the stripes on the card using strips of embossable tape and Ranger gold ep.  The corner of the panel was masked off and then inked using distress inks and the teepee was coloured with Copics.

There are some fabulous images in this set with some great sentiments and a really cool font!  Don’t forget to check out the seriously cute card Yainea has posted on her blog today – adorable!!  Sneak peaks of the forthcoming release are also starting soon over on the Avery Elle blog – you’re not going to want to miss a second of those, believe me!!!

I am so happy that this day has finally arrived.  I have been keeping this to myself for a few weeks now and for me, that has been tough!  But today I finally get to share my pant-wettingly exciting news that I am joining the Avery Elle Design Team!

To say I am honoured, humbled, privileged, grateful, and totally mind-blown would be understating it!!   I am in love with Avery Elle‘s fabulous stamp and die designs and what can I say about the new pigment inks and cardstock – incredible. I can’t wait to share the projects I’ve been busy creating with the forthcoming release for April and May.  Prepare to be swept away when you see the new stamp sets and dies coming next month!  My first post over on the Avery Elle Design Blog is on Monday 31st March – hope you can swing by to say hi!!
