Only 2 weeks too late!!

Look how pretty it looks!!  This is our house this afternoon right in the middle of the biggest snowfall we’ve had here in years.  I am happily enjoying this little bit of snow although I can say that because I don’t have to go out in it!!  The kids are officially off tomorrow and even hubby has the day free so I think we’ll enjoy making some snowmen and having hot cross buns and hot chocolate!!  Hope it’s good wherever you are!

DT Passion For ProMarkers #29 – Sketch plus love theme

Michelle has created a lovely sketch for us this week at Passion For Promarkers but it comes with a twist – your project has to be inspired by Luuurve!  I am not a big Magnolia lover (sorry to the Maggie fans out there) but I do like this one.  I stamped a few of these at Stephs when I was there and actually coloured one with her Copics (gasp!).  However, this one is of course coloured with my trusty ProMarkers and she’s teamed with some gorgeous Cosmo Cricket papers (my favourite).  I’ve kept the embellishments to a minimum as the paper does all the talking here!

Hope you have a chance to pop over to the blog for look at the DT examples and have a go at the challenge – never to soon to start those valentine’s cards ladies!!  We have  a Prize of 5 ProMarkers up for grabs from our lovely sponsor, Letraset too!

Another Christmas thank you .

This one I’m entering in the challenge over at A Passion For Papertrey which is “Super Stars”.  I have limited PTI stuff at the moment but am hoping to expand my collection over the coming months.  I just love the colour pallette – expecially Spring Moss (the ribbon, ink and on the background paper) and Raspberry Fizz (Pure Poppy is another of my favourites – well, they’re all gorgeous actually!).  The star is from the Winter Swirls set and the sentiment is from Signiature Christmas.  I have added a touch of glamour dust to the star – well, it is a Christmas card (almost!).  This is another card more in the CAS style I do love so much and the paper was a scrap left over from another card I made months ago (see resolution number 1 and 3 below!!).
