A Passion For Papertrey Challenge: CONGRATULATIONS

Well, here as promised is my card for the latest challenge over at A Passion For Papertrey.  This time round we’re looking for congrats themed cards and creations with a dash of Papertrey Ink of course!

Recipe: {Congratulations}
STAMPS: Scattered Showers.
INK: Aqua Mist, Ripe Avacado, Smokey Shadow.
DIES: Scattered Showers, Heart Border, Mat Stack 4, Canvas Impression Plate.
CARDSTOCK: Vintage Cream, Rustic Cream, Ripe Avacado, Green Tea Leaves pp.
OTHER: Ripe Avacado button, felt, Aqua Mist grosgrain ribbon.

I have used a fab sketch from the current challenge going on over at Retro Sketches – just what I needed to get this card to come together!

I’m still here!!!

Hello blogging friends – been a bit quiet around here of late what with holidays, school, work yada, yada!  It’s been a busy old couple of months but my new resolution (they don’t just have to be New Year’s do they) is to get my crafting backside in gear and get back to my blog.  So on that note here is a set of cards I made just before the kids broke up for school for their beloved teachers!  I used all PTI supplies on these – love those alphabet dies!!  This is also for our current challenge over on A Passion For Papertrey which is entitled Take Your Pick.  That’s right – if you’ve got some PTI goodness then you can join in the challenge!

A Passion for Papertrey – Circles Challenge.

I know it’s been a while since I posted but life is pretty hectic for me at the moment.  We have had a few busy weekends and it continues for the foreseeable future with Sophie’s first holy communion this weekend, Georgia’s 10th birthday the weekend after and then after that our 18 day trip to Florida!!  I guess it’s going to be fairly quiet around here for the next couple of months.

So, for today here is my card for the new challenge over on A Passion For Papertrey.  This time we’re challenging you to use circles.  Although Aimes (my DT buddy) was able to come up with an AMAZING out of the box design – I went for a more simple approach!!  In other words I punch a load of circles out of PTI pp and layered them up!!  I love Raspberry Fizz and Aqua Mist together – swoon.
