Sleigh Bells Ring, are you listening?

Hello everyone – been some time since I posted but life has been somewhat manic this past few weeks!!  Thankfully I had time one night to get together with some some great friends for a crafty night of fun making little items for the school fair which is tomorrow.  We’ve been doing this for a few years now and it’s always lovely to actually craft socially – don’t think there’s many of us get much time to do that!

One of the things we made this year are these little pillow boxes made using PTI’s pillow box die.  They are SO simple to make and are great for little gifts or even gift cards!  I think we ended up with about 40 of them – but here’s a small sample.

Thesse also fit in with our new “Christmas” themed challenge over on A Passion For Papertrey so pop on over and you could win a PTI gift certificate!

Merry Christmas,

Happy News for a dear friend!

Many of you who pop by this blog will also be very familiar with a dear friend of mine – the uber-talented Amy Wanford.  Well, after 10 years of “living over the brush” as my dear gran would say, her beloved Chris (Gray – I know!!) has asked her to be his wife!! Yay – I see a hen night somewhere in my future!!

Well, anyway, to celebrate and congratulate this wonderful couple I have made them a card – and here it is…

As you can see, I can’t keep away from that rose from Blooming Marvellous (Clearly Besotted) and I’ve been at it again with the masked embossing – love this technique (especially now I’ve figured out how it’s done!!).

So congrats Aimes – I couldn’t be happier!

Hugs,
