You can’t have too many…

Shoes and bags!  Well, not if they all looked like these anyway!  I used the Stepping Out and Basic Banners stamp sets from Clearly Besotted and inked them is varying shades of aqua (the birthday girl’s favourite colour). I also broke out my new Modern Borders set from Mama Elephant – been after this set for a while so when I saw it come back in stock, in my basket it went!!

The lighting just wasn’t right when I tried to photograph this card so apologies if it looks a wee bit bleached!  Can you see the shimmer on the shoes?  I used a Zig Wink of Stella clear brush pen – lush!

CASE study challenge – more Maile!

Hi there, just here to share a card inspired by this week’s Case Study challenge – another stunning card from Maile Belles.  I was really taken with the colours and the little extra embellishments she used – instead of the pin and die cut word I used a couple of wee sequins and a die cut star border.  I hope I haven’t messed with her design too much!?

Here’s Maile’s card:

And here’s my take:

I’m off for a nice long soak in the bath with a wee glass of wine and my ipod!  We’re going to friends for dinner this evening so need to get a wriggle on or I won’t be ready!!

Enjoy your weekend all!

Hugs

A weird coincidence!!

I nearly didn’t share this card because my teamie Debby Hughes (Lime Doodle) shared a card not an hour ago that is VERY similar indeed!!  I guess we’re pretty much on the same wavelength with this idea but it’s a little weird just how similar the two cards are.

Here’s mine:

And here’s Debby’s:

We’ve both been playing with Clearly Besotted‘s new Honeycomb die which co-ordinates with the gorgeous Honeycomb set (currently out of stock but back in in a few weeks!).

I do prefer Debby’s but isn’t it strange – they are pretty close in design?!

Thanks for stopping by,
