Case Study Challenge – more from Danielle

Hello, here with my next card for the Case Study Challenge where I’m a guest designer for the month of February – yay!  The muse this month, if you didn’t already know is Danielle Flanders (whom I adore) and here is my take on her card this week:

The thing that struck me most about Danielle’s card is the hombre background so I grabbed my Modern Borders set from Mama Elephant and got to work.  I love that effect!

Fabulous February release peeks at Clearly Besotted

Teaser Time

Hi – here I am again with more glimpses of the fabulous new stamps and dies available in the upcoming February release from Clearly Besotted.  Today I’m sharing a card made with the new Hoppy Easter set – don’t you LOVE that bunny.  The set comes with one large solid bunny and one smaller outline bunny.  I thought she’d be perfect for a spot of paper piecing so pulled out some of my MOUNTAIN of unused and unloved patterned paper and got to work!

Channeling my inner Debby!

Hiya!  Did you follow the Online Card Class: Stencilled recently?  I did and have to say it is one of my favourites yet!  I LOVED it!  I have a few stencils in my stash and now have so many more ideas to use them.  My lovely friend Debby Hughes once again was such an inspiration and so I took her ideas and came up with this card:

The chicken wire background is actually super-sparkly but it doesn’t show in the photo at all – neither does the shimmer on the birdcage!!  I went over it with a coat of Wink of Stella – Crystal {LOVE}.  Bought myself a few Heidi Swapp mists too – this one is called Seafoam – gives a nice subtle background without overpowering anything – could get addicted to these!
