Masking is one of my favourite techniques but I don’t use it that often. I don’t know why, it just slips my mind to do it! I love the possibilities it opens up for images and although you can build the same “picture” by cutting them out, sometimes it’s nice to have no borders and have it look like it’s all one image. Altenew are such an amazing company – I LOVE their designs, they’re so unique. This was one of the first sets I owned and I absolutely LOVE it! I love the graphic flowers and the gorgeous design elements. I stamped three flowers in Gold Delicata ink masking as I went to build my focal point. Once all three were masked I blended a mixture of Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade Distress inks around them (how HOT does that combo look??!). For added texture I flicked on somewater droplets and some Gold Lame spray from Heidi Swapp and added a few Gold Glitter Doodlebug Sprinkles. The sentiment (which I have waited for ages to own) is from Simon Says Stamp cut in gold card from Bazzill.
