Hi there, just popping in with a quick post to share a couple of cards I created with the December 2015 card kit from Simon Says Stamp. This is such a fun kit – self adhesive sequins?? YES PLEASE!!! The papers are gorgeous and the stamp set is just adorable! Hope to make a few more before I need to crack on and start actually sending them!!

Hey there, it’s time to be thankful on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog this week. It’s that lovely time of year where everything’s turning and the nights are for cosying up in front of the fire with a hot drink and a blankie!! Bliss!
For my card this week I kept it very simple although a wee bit of work went into it to colour that apple (three attempts before I was happy, lol!). I was totally inspired by the way my idol Debby Hughes coloured this stamp and so I went with her lead and smothered it in Glossy Accents too! To ground the image and add a little more interest I just framed the card with a free hand border drawn with a Copic multi liner pen.

So when it comes to colourful, Doodlebug are the experts! I love the fabulous paper pads and embellishments the produce and the way everything co-ordinates so beautifully makes creating cards a cinch! Looking out of my window today you’d think we were in the middle of Winter – it hasn’t stopped raining for days! This happy card is just what I need to remind me that it’s still just about Summer, lol!!!
