CASE study challenge – more Maile!

Hi there, just here to share a card inspired by this week’s Case Study challenge – another stunning card from Maile Belles.  I was really taken with the colours and the little extra embellishments she used – instead of the pin and die cut word I used a couple of wee sequins and a die cut star border.  I hope I haven’t messed with her design too much!?

I’m off for a nice long soak in the bath with a wee glass of wine and my ipod!  We’re going to friends for dinner this evening so need to get a wriggle on or I won’t be ready!!

Getting a head start!

On Teacher Thank You cards that is!  Each year I have to make a small mountain of these cards (what with all the teaching assistants etc now) so I thought I’d start planning ahead!  Clearly Besotted released a fantastic set last month called “Teacher’s Pet” which is JUST PERFECT for this occasion and with all the options in this set, no two cards need look the same!!  Here’s a couple I have managed to rustle up so far. More Clearly Besotted Beauties

I’ve been having a wee play with the Thinking of You set again from Clearly Besotted.  I adore this lily stamp – I will use it again and again.

I stamped the image in London Fog (Memento) then cut a panel and stamped it again lining the image up so that I could have a section coloured in and raised on sticky pads.  The gorgeous “Happy” and “birthday” sentiments are from the Happy Days set – also available at CBS (back in stock soon!).
