Best Teacher

Hello again, here with another little sneak at a new Clearly Besotted set that is REALLY useful at this time of year – this one’s called Best Teacher.  I LOVE this big bold, juicy apple – Isn’t it amazing?!  I inked it up with Clasic Cherry ink by Ranger and stamped it a couple of times using my MISTI to get a really clean flawless print.  I LOVE the MISTI for that.  I used a thin strip of striped cardstock from Simple Stories colour vibe paper pad and finished with one of the sentiments from the set.

Well I hope you’re enjoying all the sneak peeks so far?  I’ll be back again tomorrow with another card but make sure you pop along to Steph’s blog and the rest of the team for more mouth-watering inspiration .

Clearly Besotted Sneak Peek – Looking Up

Teaser Time

Hello – it’s the 2nd of the month so that means the start of the Clearly Besotted sneak peeks for the June 2015 release.  There’s some absolutely gorgeous sets coming this month and today I’m starting with one of my favourites – Looking Up.  I’m a BIG flamingo fan so I was so thrilled when I saw this little set – aren’t these the cutest?!  I created this wee 4-bar card from Berry Sorbet cardstock (Papertrey Ink)  and did some ink smooshing on some watercolour card for my panel.  I used Spectrum Noir Aqua markers – love these pens!  To keep it simple I just stamped and coloured the flamingoes with Copic markers and then die cut them using the co-ordinating dies.

flamingoI’ll be popping back tomorrow with another little sneak but in the meantime, please check out the rest of the Design Team and our two fabulous guests Jen Nelson and Jo Neville.

Clearly Besotted May Release – 4 more cards

So here we are – the Clearly Besotted May 2015 release will be available at 10pm this evening and to finish off my samples I have, 4 YES 4 more cards to share.  The first features the new April Showers Additions set – a wee add on to the previously released April Showers.  I selectively inked the sentiment using some gorgeous bright rainbow colours (Ranger dye inks <3) and added some texture with a few Doodlebug Sprinkles.

My second card features the new Ribbon Flowers stamp set.  Here I coloured one of the images using Spectrum Noir Aqua markers and then mounted the panel onto a wee 4-bar card made from Papertrey Ink Spring Moss cardstock.

My next two cards feature the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING (sure-to-sell-out-in-minutes) Shaker card dies created in collaboration with Lucy Abrahms.  I am in love with these dies – I just can’t put into words how much!  By the way – don’t you love the woodgrain papers I used on this first card?  Stephanie now stocks a great range of paper pads at the Clearly Besotted store as well as a ton of other products – check out all the new additions HERE!.
