Bottle tags and more!

In the run up to Christmas I always try to create something for the children’s school to sell at the Christmas Fair.  This year I gathered a few of my crafty chums and fellow mums to make some wine bottle tags and little gift bags.  For the tags I used the Cheers die from Avery Elle (had so much fun with this this year) and the little bags are made using the Lawn Fawn gift bag (adore this!!).  I pulled out a bunch of my favourite holiday sets and dies and we managed to create together about 50 tags and about 20 bags (which we filled with scrummy treats made by my mum!!).

Today I’m sharing one more Christmas card – this time a special one I made for my lovely mum and dad.  I managed to find amongst my Clearly Besotted stamp sets the phrases “For My Wonderful” and “at Christmas” so that I could make the sentiment panel.  I die cut the letters using Avery Alpha’s dies from Avery Elle from some red glitter paper I have had for about 2 years!  It’s actually a sheet of wrapping paper I found at a department store and it’s SO red and SO glittery – I LOVE it!  I cut a small section from the large sheet and stuck it onto some double sided adhesive sheets before running it through my Big Shot.  Not surprisingly I am still in love with anything gold this Christmas so I stamped the greetings in Versamark and heat embossed with Ranger Gold EP.  I tied it together with the big ampersand cut from gold Bazzill cs using the die from Clearly Besotted’s Monogrammed die set.  The gorgeous teeny heart was cut using Simon Says Stamp’s Mini Hearts dies (never realised how useful these would be until I bought them!!).

Todays card continues the monochromatic colour scheme I used on my card for Stephanie’s birthday blog hop yesterday.  I am now addicted to spritzing Mister Hueys Calico Shine on everything too – it’s so SHIMMERY!  I love it!  I also love these Prima Crystals – they are rough like little clusters of minerals – I think they go perfectly with the shimmer.  I also LOVE the new Birch Trees stamp set from Clearly Besotted – part of the latest release available from 10 pm tonight (UK time) in the Simon Says Stamp Store!
