Hi there!  Sharing some simple cards I made using the fabulous new Summer release from Avery Elle.  I’ve used the Signature dies to emboss a “frame” onto the front of the card panel and (one of my favourite stamps from this collection) the diamond from Many Thanks to create cards for those “milestone” anniversaries (emerald, sapphire and ruby).  The sentiment is from  So Happy.

If you haven’t used your dies to emboss before then it’s very simple to do.  You will need to get yourself a rubber or silicone mat and then play with the levels of your die-cutting machine to see what combination works best (I have a Bigshot so I use the multi-purpose platform (top layer off), a rubber mat and then the two cutting plates as a sandwich). What you will end up with is the shape of the die embossed rather than cut all the way through.  It opens up all kinds of new possibilities with your dies – I squealed the first time I used this technique!!!!
