Hey there – just popping in with a card I have up on the Avery Elle blog today. I’ve been playing with the new Boo stamp set and co-ordinating dies – aren’t those spooks just adorable? I created the card using the frame dies from the We Are Family die collection and used paper from the Everyday Paper Pad (LOVE that paper!!).

Hi there – are you feeling that chill in the air? Autumn has definitely arrived in my corner of the world and I LOVE it! Before we know it, Christmas will be upon us and I am already getting excited!
So to get in that festive mood I’m sharing three cards today using some of the latest holiday products around. I recently picked up these fabulous wood veneers from Make The Day Special. They’re adhesive so perfect for die-cutting – no fiddly gluing needed! Aren’t they amazing?! I created the snowflake cards using dies from Clearly Besotted Stamps and two contrasting shades of veneer (don’t ask me the names of the woods – I’m terrible at that!). The card with the snowman uses a gorgeous new stamp and die set from Avery Elle called Be Jolly (also available and in stock at MTDS).
AND to keep with the spirit of the season of giving, I have a little something to give away to one lucky visitor of my blog. My lovely crafty chum Tara who runs THE best craft store in the UK has generously given me a pack of her AMAZING wood veneers to give away and all you have to do is leave a comment on this post. The Add a Little Dazzle metal sheets are such a fun material to use – they add a totally different different dimension to your cards and the Avery Elle dies cut like a dream! I used the black sheet to cut the spider’s web from the Boo Elle-ments collection and the letters from Avery’s Alphas. The background panel was created using Avery Elle pigment inks in Sapphire and Sugar Plum – I used a direct to paper technique of dragging the ink pad across the panel several times to get the intensity I wanted.
