Avery Elle: Time for Tea

Hello there.  Today I have a card and gift combo perfect for any occasion when you want to get together with friends for a nice cuppa and a chat!  I used a rustic cream card for this project and created a kind of “ditsy” flower design on it using one of the small detail stamps from the Tea Time stamp set.  I created a card base and also a gift bag topper using the Treat Topper fabulous die.  The bow and tag sentiment are from Home Made

I hope you all had a fabulous Easter weekend and are enjoying some yummy Easter treats!

#TBT Avery Elle: Write It

On the first Thursday of the month (hey, that’s today!) the Avery Elle DT are featuring one of the older classics from the Avery Elle inventory.  This month we have been playing with Write It – an amazing sentiment set with one of the coolest fonts ever! I used a rainbow of different Distress ink colours and masked off the top and bottom of my card.  I used a “direct to paper” technique and then added a strip of gold glitter paper to the top and bottom to finish it off.  The sentiment is stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.

Avery Elle: Party Bunny

Good afternoon – I’m here with my usual Monday dose of Avery Elle goodness and this time I’ve been playing with Party Bunny and the Balloons sets.  It may not look it but this card was a real challenge!  I could’ve done with about 10 hands to make it – the balloons just wouldn’t go where I wanted them!  I probably made it more difficult for myself than it needed to be but I got there in the end!  Look how perfectly lined up the stamps are on those die-cuts.  That’s all down to the MISTI – I didn’t waste a single balloon – love that thing!
