Simon Says Stamp … December 2016 Card Kit

Hi there.  I know this kit sold out in record time (and why wouldn’t it – it’s amazing) but you can still buy the elements at SSS including the cute as can be stamp set, Merry and Bright which is in stock (for now!!).  I love the colour combo in this set, there is a real retro feel to it which is right up my crafty alley!!  I love the Doodlebug papers and there’s even a Chibi-tronics mini kit in there too!  I’ve started playing with the kit and have three cards to share today JUST using the papers and card – I’ll have a few more featuring the stamp set soon!!

The only bits added to this card that aren’t in the kit are the snowflake and the bakers twine.!

This card was whipped up in seconds!  I cut the paper down to fit an A2 card using the Avery Elle Custom Panels Elle-ments and added some twine – boom!

One of my favourite Concord and 9th products is the Take a Bough die set.  It is SO unique and gives SO many options to create ALL kinds of different things.  I’ve made a cute little pink, ombre tree which I sprayed with lots of shimmer – it’s adorable in real life!!

Christmas To Die For

Use any die cut on your creation and if you don’t have one you can use a punch instead. The main thing is to make something for Christmas and have fun!

We would also like to wish all of our friends in the United States a Very Happy Thanksgiving. We hope you have a lovely time with your family and friends.

As soon as I saw this stamp set from Simon Says Stamp I HAD to order it!  I absolutely LOVE stags so it had to come and live with me.  I created a card base from Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and die cut a panel of plaid paper from the Sugar Plum paper pad from My Mind’s Eye.  I heat embossed the stag in Rose Gold and finished off with a bit of twine and some foliage from the set.  It reminds me of a Highland hunting lodge somewhere in Scotland 🙂
