So I bought this set months ago and it’s been sitting there crying out to be inked ever since!  I LOVE the modern, graphic style of the flowers and the larger scale is fabulous.  I used Altenew’s crisp inks for the design and double stamped with the MISTI to get really gorgeous, flawless results with the colour.  Te sentiment is from the Label Love set – one of my favourites at the moment – SO useful!

Avery Elle … Fruit Stand

Hello and Happy Monday!  It’s my turn over on the Avery Elle blog and today I’m sharing a wee 4 bar sized card featuring the new Fruit Stand stamp set and coordinating elle-ments from the latest Spring 2017 release.  I stamped the little girl and stand with New Moon dye ink and coloured everything with Copics.  The grass border was done using the new die collection Picket Fence.    I love all the little extra elements that come with this set – there’s LOADS of uses I can think of!

Avery Elle Spring 2017 Release Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to the Avery Elle Spring 2017 Release Blog Hop.  You should’ve hopped here from Karolyn’s blog but if you’re lost and want to start at the beginning then you need to pop on over to the Avery Elle blog.
I am thrilled to be sharing a couple of cards today made using Shine Bright from the release.  This is another of my own designs and I’m so pleased with how it turned out – I love anything to do with the ocean.
I kept the first card very simple as I wanted to keep the lighthouse as a standalone focal point.  The Rocky Shores dies from the last release are a perfect partner for this set and together they create a great shoreline landscape.

For the second card I created a Distress Ink blended background for my lighthouse to sit in front of.  This set is also ideal for using with the Chibi-tronics kits too!
