Avery Elle … Peek A Boo Christmas Train

Hey there, popping in with a festive little card featuring the Peek-a-Boo Christmas Train stamp set and the Happy Holidays die.  I decided to take the elements from set and create a scene based around the large Happy Holidays sentiment rather than in the train.  It’s sometimes fun to mix and match the sets up!

I die cut the Happy Holidays from red card then to give it a fun, snow-covered look I used a product that’s quite new to me – Neon Amplify from Tsukineko.  It’s a pigment ink that puffs up like snow when you heat it with a heat gun.  It’s very addictive – be warned!

For my card base I used some snowfall paper from the Holidays Paper Pad and set it behind a white Postage stamp frame (now retired).  I added this to the card front then stamped, coloured and die cut my reindeer, tree and presents and tucked them into the frame.  To finish I added some glitter here and there for extra sparkle!

Avery Elle … Sending Hugs

Hey there, here today sharing a card using the beautiful Sending Hugs stamps and dies.  This is such a clever set, I love the cute critters popping out from the envelope!

I started by die cutting some patterned paper from the Holiday Paper Collection using the Wonky Rectangles die set and tied some red twine around the bottom half.I stamped the envelope image twice so I could layer up the front and have the fox peeking out.

I stamped the sentiment on the envelope and finished off with a tiny dot of glossy accents on his nose!

Avery Elle … Frenchie

Hello, Caryn here today with a card using the super-cute Frenchie stamp set.  Heather has such a talent for creating these doggy designs and this could be one of my favourites yet!

I love how versatile this set is too – not just for everyday cards but birthday and even Valentines – and masculine and feminine styles too!

I started by adding a strip of patterned paper from the Holiday Paper Collection.  I stamped the images and coloured them with Copics before die cutting them and adding them to the card.

To finish I added some twine and a bit of glittery sparkle with a shimmer pen.
