Happy New Year!

Or Happy Hogmanay as we scots like to say. We had a great night last night – a fancy dress party! It was a scream. Here’s a few photos of us and some of our friends. This was the first year we have let the two older kids stay up for the bells. They were so excited but were still going when the rest of us were dropping!!

It was a great night and a fab start to a new year. Hope everyones else had a good night too and I wish you all the best for 2009.

Believe it or not, I have started my christmas cards for 2009!! I found myself with a couple of hours to myself this afternoon while hubby has taken the kids to the cinema and baby P is napping and got out my new toys – namely my nestabilities and my new Martha Stewart punch. Didn’t really mean to make christmas cards but all my christmas things were to hand so that’s what I ended up with. Will add a photo or two later when I get a chance!

Whheeeeeee!

Ooh, I’m so thrilled. I have won a challenge over on the Cuttlebug Spot blog!!! I can’t believe it. I haven’t had a chance to check out much of what’s been happening over the past few weeks out in Blogland so missed this when it was announced!! I am so chuffed I can’t describe it. I haven’t won anything like this before. Thank you so much Nilda – I really am super happy.

I can’t be over already!!!

Well, here we are again in the downer that is post-christmas. I always get sad when christmas day ends – all the excitement and build-up over in a flash. It was a fab few days though. We had a full house with mum and dad, my sister and her new boyfriend Craig and my brother and is fiance, Katy. With the 7 of us it made for a busy but fun day. The kids were so excited opening all their presents and santa was quite good to me too. I got some much-longed for Nestibilities and a gorgeous new Martha Stewart border punch. Can’t wait to get busy with them.

I managed to find some time today to scan and stich some LO#s I did a wee while back. Here’s one of my favourite christmas ones. The glittered chipboard letters are to die for – they’re from the same K&Co box that I used on my chipboard tree. Just LOVE em.
