I got these lovely awards yesterday from the gorgeous Cheryl. Thank you so much hunny, I am super thrilled.

I will come back a wee bit later and pass them on – it’s time to get the dinner on!

Right, I’m back and have some people to pass these yummy awards on to.

A Spoonful of Sugar challenge 47 – To "die" for!

Yes, as the name suggests we are asking for die-cuts on your cards this week over at A Spoonful of Sugar. I have made my card using my nesties and SU! scallop punch (which I lurve)! Again I have used my little cupcake stamps from Sandy and this time have diamond glazed and glittered them. The ribbon, papers and card are all Papertray Ink from my chum Steph and the sentiment is Woodware. After I made this card I saw that the current challenge over at A Passion for Papertray is to use scallops – happy days, 2 challenges in one card!!!

Right – there is a small mountain developing in my laundry room of wet clothes – should I or shouldn’t I put them on the line?? The weather is a bit overcast here today but I’m not convinced we’re going to get rain. Might just chance it!!

Catch you all later – have some serious blopping to do!

Hugs to you all.

Cupcake Crafts Challenge 35 – One layer!!

Afternoon everyone – hope you’re all having a wonderful bank holiday. We have arrived back from our jollies in Angelsey after a fabulous weekend in the sun. We were so lucky with the weather I have to say and were even able to get the kids down to the beach a couple of times.
I have just popped on to upload my card for our challenge this week over at Cupcake Crafts. It’s another toughie this week from our Lauren – make a card with just one layer!! This isn’t QUITE as hard as it first sounds because the “one layer” refers to one layer of card/patterned paper NOT including your base card or image (if using). You can use as many other embellies as you like. So not SO bad!! I don’t know if I might be ever so slightly pushing the boundaries with my example! The base card is MM cosmopolitan range (I think) and is a DS cardstock. Over that I’ve layered a paisley pattern from the same range and edged with ribbon. The flowers are from Joanna Sheen – great value!! Ok, so there is my one layer! However, I did stamp my Gorjuss girl onto another piece of the same card as the base card and then paper pieced her on to that. Is this another layer?? I hope not – that would be cheating!!
Anyhoo, hope you can pop over and join in with this weeks challenge – it gets you thinking!! The other DT’s samples are GORGEOUS and again, so varied. Next week it’s my first chance to set the challenge so I have to get the old brain churning and see if I can conjure up something to get you all thinking again!! Hmmmmm……..
