CASE Study challenge – couldn’t resist!

When I saw that Julie Ebersol was the latest muse over at Case Study challenge blog I just had to play along.  Julie is just so inspiring and is one of my favourite places to visit right now!  If you’ve ever watched one of her video’s you’ll know what I mean when I say her chuckle is infectious!!

Anyhoo, here is my take on her card.  I used the With Love set from Clearly Besotted and coloured the card in with ProMarkers after embossing the outline image in white.  The sentiment is from one of the latest sets to be released – Many Thanks (LOVE this set!!). I love the effect of colouring on a Kraft base – the colours just pop!

{Thankful}

Here is the original card – I didn’t mess too much with the design and my card isn’t a patch on Julie’s!

This was the first time I’ve ever joined in with this challenge (I always mean to but there are just never enough hours in the day!!).  It was great fun so I hope I find the time again!!

Grateful? Yes I am!!

Been having fun again with the latest release of stamps from Clearly Besotted.  This time I’ve used “Just A Note” and “Many Thanks” – two very versatile and incredibly useful sets. They’re selling out fast though so pop over to the shop before they’re gone and you have to wait for a restock!!

{Gratitude}

Hope you’re having a fab weekend wherever you are.  I’m taking my daughter and her friend to the cinema tonight to see Oz – looks amazing!  Mum has two of them for a sleepover and hubby and the remaining two are still enjoying a cheeky skiing holiday in Andorra!!  The house seems very quiet with just Olivia and her pal tonight!

Splattering – hmmmm?

The jury’s out on this one for me.  I’m not really a splatterer (?) but whilst I was trying out my new Inktense pencils I had a wee accident which resulted in my tag getting splattered!!  I love that you can do that with them but it wasn’t exactly where I was headed, lol!!  Anyhoo, I thought I’d just go with it but now that I look at it again I can’t help wondering if it looks like the butterfly has suffered some sort of haemorrhage!!!  Oh well, you win some you lose some, lol!

{With Love}
