It’s sadly my last week as a guest DT over at the Case Study Challenge (sniff). It’s been an honour casing the wonderful Danielle Flanders – she is such a sweet and talented lady and I couldn’t have had a better month to be guesting.

It’s sadly my last week as a guest DT over at the Case Study Challenge (sniff). It’s been an honour casing the wonderful Danielle Flanders – she is such a sweet and talented lady and I couldn’t have had a better month to be guesting.
Avery Elle have just launched a new challenge blog called AEIHEARTU (yay!) so I thought I’d join in with the first challenge which is BIRTHDAYS! One of my favourite all-time stamp sets EVER is Avery Elle’s Bonjour – who doesn’t love a French macaron??
The splattery background is done with my new Heidi Swapp mist – thanks Debby Hughes for the enablement there, lol!!! You can’t see how luscious it is but the sentiment and border are stamped in gold Delicata ink – swoon!!
Thanks for dropping by xxx
Did you know that Steph has just added some amazing new stand-alone dies to the Clearly Besotted store?? Well, now you do!! She has described them as her “staples” – her “go-to” shapes and so thought it fitting to have them available in her store. And boy am I glad she did! They are so fun – I had a play with one of them last night – the Large Geometric Rose. I thought I’d play with a few colours and came up with this bold flower design – isn’t it cool?
The sentiment is from A Little Sentimental – if you don’t have this set then you NEED to get it NOW!! I curved the stamp on my block and stamped it 4 times to go around the flower. This week’s Card Concept challenge is to “Use a Floral theme” so I am sharing this with the girls over there. I don’t classify my style as “clean and graphic”very often but I’m pretty sure this is where this card would fit!!!
Have a great weekend everyone xxx
Edited to add – check out fellow DT Michelle’s blog – she’s been playing with this die too!!!
