Get Cracking On Christmas – October Edition!

So with the best of intentions I have been RUBBISH at keeping up with the promise to myself to make a Christmas card every month from January to December.  The third Thursday rolls round and I’m out of time time AGAIN!

Not this month though!  I’ve DONE it!  I’ve managed to add one card to my meagre collection of Christmas cards, and here it is!

I broke and oldie but goodie stamp set, Holiday Bouquet from Avery Elle which I still love to colour (I know I’m biased because I designed it but hey, shoot me!!)

Make sure you pop along to the other girls that have been WAY better at this this year than me … Jenn, Libby and Cheiron.

Avery Elle … Simply Said: BRIGHT

Hey there, Caryn here with my take on the gorgeous new Simply Said: Bright stamp set and dies.  I really love the versatility of this set, with the different options. You can choose to include the mat or just use the co-ordinating sentiment die as I’ve done here.  I created a cluster of foliage using stamps from the Alpine Christmas and Holiday Skates sets and added a ready-made frame form the Holiday Ephemera pack.

I stamped the Bright sentiment in red and used the co-ordinating die to cut it out.  I finished it of with a bit of sparkle (hard to see in the photo as always) using the Shimmer Spray (struggling to make a card without that these days, lol)!
