Clearly Besotted Sneak Peek – Looking Up

Hello – it’s the 2nd of the month so that means the start of the Clearly Besotted sneak peeks for the June 2015 release.  There’s some absolutely gorgeous sets coming this month and today I’m starting with one of my favourites – Looking Up.  I’m a BIG flamingo fan so I was so thrilled when I saw this little set – aren’t these the cutest?!  I created this wee 4-bar card from Berry Sorbet cardstock (Papertrey Ink)  and did some ink smooshing on some watercolour card for my panel.  I used Spectrum Noir Aqua markers – love these pens!  To keep it simple I just stamped and coloured the flamingoes with Copic markers and then die cut them using the co-ordinating dies.

I’m excited that we’re featuring Avery Elle this week but it was tough to choose which products to use!  I love them all!  I finally decided to ink up wee Ellie – a fantastic little set designed by my friend Heather Campbell.  I also grabbed some extra images from the Storybook and More Stories (also designed by Heather coincidentally, lol).  I created the sky background with some Avery Elle pigment inks and used the new MFT grass border dies inked up with more pigment ink for a bit more dimension.

Avery Elle : Amazing

 

 

Hey there – today I have a great stamp set to share from Avery Elle called Amazing.  It features a great set of sentiments for your friends and family in a gorgeous font.  I’ve paired it with the cute pug image from the gorgeous Furry Friends set designed by Heather – love this little pup!  I made this card for my daughter who happens to be totally in love with pugs!!! amazing
