Simon Says … Create Joy!!

Create Joy

YAY!  It’s here!  The new Simon Says Stamp Create Joy Release is live and ready to order!  There are so many fabulous products in this release – I just don’t know where to start!  This big Ornament Wreath is amazing!  At first I had no idea what I would do with it – it’s not a small die!  But then I decided to keep it simple, have a nice, frosty, water coloured background and just add a few sequins for some bling.  The sentiment is from another gorgeous set, So Very Merry.  In hind sight I think I’d have chosen a bolder sentiment but I was dying to stamp this one, lol!!  I embossed it in white, isn’t it gorgeous!?

There’s a fab blog hop tomorrow which I can’t wait to see – I know I’m going to be broke by the end of it though, lol!

Thanks for dropping by.

Isn’t that the most fabulous Halloweeny inspiration board?  I love it – and I love all things Halloween so I had a TON of fun creating my card for this week’s challenge!  I made my card base from black card and cut a frame using the MFT Fishtail Flags dies.  I created a panel for the front of the card coloured with a blend of Distress inks and adhered it onto the base card.  On a separate piece of card I did some more ink blending bringing more shades with Spiced marmalade and Ripe Persimmon with Wilted Violet into Seedless Preserves at the bottom.  I then took some of the images from the Halloween Charms set from Stampendous and created a little spooky scene in black.  I adhered the frame over this and popped it up onto the front of the card.

Avery Elle – Dashing

Hello and happy Monday!  I’m literally DASHING into to share a card which is over on the Avery Elle blog today.  I created a subtle background pattern on my card base using Sea Glass Pigment Ink and a snowflake from the Noel stamp set.  I wanted my focal image to really pop so kept everything subdued.  I die cut a small panel using the Wonky Stitches Elle-ments and stamped the sentiment from Dashing in Sea Glass ink also.    I stamped the car and tree image in black and coloured it using Zig Clean Colour markers.  To finish I added some bling to the snowflakes and tree and popped it up on the card front using foam adhesive.
