Clearly Besotted September Release – Full of eastern Promise!

Hurray – we’re back to our regular viewing schedule at Clearly Besotted Stamps after a month off for the summer!  Steph has a fabulous bunch of products this month (as well as some amazing Simon Says Stamp exclusives released yesterday).  Today we’re starting the countdown to release night with some cards showing the new stamps and dies which will be available at 10 pm on Friday 5th September.  Be sure to stop by all the Design Teams’ blogs for lots of amazing inspiration.

So here’s what I’ve been playing with for today’s post:

Eastern Delights 1

This card features a STUNNING image building set called Eastern Delights and allows you to create gorgeous paisley-style patterns and focal images – I just LOVE it!  This could be one of my all time favourite colour combos too – so pretty!

The holidays are coming….

Ok – it’s still August but for a papercrafter that means it’s time to start thinking about the upcoming festive holidays such as Halloween and Christmas.  I have to admit that this last three months of the year is my MOST favourite season – I love the Autumn, Halloween, 3 of my children (and myself) have birthdays and then IT’S CHRISTMAS!!!  It’s a wonderful time of year in our house.  So in the spirit of the festive season (soon) I have a dainty little Christmas card to share!!

Today also sees the start of a new challenge today over at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Blog and this week theme is everyone’s favourite… ANYTHING GOES!  The design team are featuring products from Memory Box but you don’t have to to enter.

Anything Goes Memory Box

Lately I’ve seen Debby Hughes making lots of cards in a smaller scale (4 bar size) which really appeals to me and is perfect for this little deer die.  I’ve used the Mini Stardust Stencil with some gorgeous silver-glitter sparkle medium with the Leaping Deer die both from Memory Box.  I covered the die cut deer in Versamark and then embossed him in silver fine embossing powder.  The sentiment is from Pretty Poinsettia from Clearly Besotted and is also embossed in silver.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Back To School

Hi – today sees the start of another new challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog.  The theme of this week’s challenge is BACK TO SCHOOL and we’re showcasing products from My Favourite Things.

II can’t believe the summer is almost at an end – it always makes me a little sad but the start of a new term is always exciting so lets see how you mark the occasion!!

I love the MFT background stamps – they’re so detailed yet stamp perfectly.  I used the Typewriter Text backfround stamp from MFT and some other stamps from Clearly Besotted.  I also had my first play with Distress Markers – and then ordered a whole heap more!!!
